Wednesday 3rd July, 7 for 7:30pm start
German Club, Adelaide
In 2006, 15 year old Carly Ryan thought she had met her dream boyfriend online. His name was Brandon Kane, a 20 year old musician from Melbourne. Brandon was in fact the cyberspace alter ego of Gary Newman, a 50 year old predator and paedophile. Gary spent months masquerading as Brandon Kane and Carly fell in love with the Brandon construct during the months of online contact and phone calls.
In February 2007, Gary Newman convinced Carly to meet him. He took her to a secluded beach at Port Elliot where her body was later discovered. Within 11 days, detectives located Gary in Victoria and arrested him for Carly’s murder. Come and hear Detectives John Schneemilch and Matt Fitzpatrick recount the events of the SAPOL investigation which led to the apprehension of an online predator.

This offer is available to all ANZFSS members and friends (across Australia – sorry New Zealanders, we can’t deliver to you) but the quantity of this highly-rated wine is limited and it is strictly until sold out.
Pick up your order from the showroom (opening hours are on the order form) or have your order delivered Australia-wide for $15 per dozen (total $115 per case, insured delivery). Only dozen lots can be ordered – no split orders will be accepted.
The Wine: 2010 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon
60% Shiraz/40% Cabernet Sauvignon (Currency Creek/McLaren Vale). 14.6% alc/vol
With its deep crimson and ruby hues, this wine exhibits bright blackcurrant and cherry fruit characters along with mint and spice. A mix of American and French oak builds the structure and adds cigar box notes through the nose. The intense fruit characteristics persist through the palate and are complimented by fine, silky tannins. Great with hearty stews or roast lamb with baby potatoes.
To Order: An order form MUST accompany every order.
