DESCRIPTION:Forensic Science research continues to flourish in Western Australia\, with high-quality work resulting in real-world outcomes as well as novel discoveries that could change the future of the field. ANZFSS strongly encourages the continued development of Forensics and proudly supported several Members to attend the 2023 International Association of Forensic Sciences held in Sydney. \nAll are welcome on Monday 15th of April as we have a flash-presentation style evening\, where the Recipients will give snippet overviews of their presentations. SUMMARY:New Psychoactive Substances in Wastewater\, Dr Richard Bade
DESCRIPTION:Dr Richard Bade is an Australian Research Council DECRA Senior Research Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS) at The University of Queensland. He obtained his PhD from the University Jaume I\, Castellon\, Spain in 2016\, which focussed on analytical tools for the investigation of licit and illicit drug residues in water before joining the Population Health Chemistry Group at the University of South Australia from 2017 – 2021\, where his research focussed on the development of quantitative and qualitative methods for the determination of illicit drugs in wastewater.
