SUMMARY:WA Branch Seminar: Operation Trink
DESCRIPTION:Anecdotal evidence suggests that drink spiking incidents have been increasing in recent years. Determining the actual prevalence of these crimes is challenging\, with limited opportunities to obtain information as victims do not have easy access to forensic testing. \nThe WA Police Force; in collaboration with ChemCentre\, the Sexual Assault Resource Centre and Royal Perth Hospital; have developed a novel procedure to collect valuable forensic evidence that can support the victims of these crimes. \nAll are welcome to join as we hear from Dr. Renee Jelly (WA Police) and Banafsheh Behrouzi (ChemCentre) as they detail the work undertaken to implement this important initiative. \nNetworking over light refreshments will start from 5:30 pm with the presentation to begin at 6:00 pm. \nBooking Link: https://members.anzfss.org/booking.php?id=45
