DESCRIPTION:Visit a world-class pathology collection featuring 1500 wet-preserved human tissue specimens with a presentation from museum staff. \nThe Museum of Human Disease is a world-class pathology collection of 1500 wet-preserved human tissue specimens\, including examples of both infectious and non-infectious diseases.\nThe museum not only assists in the teaching of UNSW’s medicine and science students but also sees over 9000 high school biology students each year – generally about 40% of all HSC Biology students in New South Wales. They are also available as a valuable resource to the public to explore issues in personal and public health. \nDate: Wednesday 10th July \nTime: From 6pm \nLocation: Museum of Human Disease\, Ground Floor Samuels Building\, UNSW\, Sydney \nPrice: Free for members. $10 for non-members. Catering will be provided. \n
