2027 ANZFSS SA Branch Professional Development Award
Applications for the 2027 ANZFSS SA Branch Professional Development Award are now open to members of the SA Branch.
During the period between ANZFSS Symposiums, the ANZFSS SA branch offers funding of up to $5000 for one SA Branch member to engage in some form of professional development. Whilst an award was made in May 2026 for a conference in 2026, the committee has decided to offer a second award for a conference to be held during 2027.
The award is available to all SA Branch members including practitioners, academics, students and general members. The branch encourages all members to apply. Applications will be judged on a variety of factors including the benefits of the proposed activity to the member, the branch and the wider the community. Past and present contributions of the applicant to the society will also be considered in judging the award.
Please download and complete the form at the link below and submit to the ANZFSS SA Branch: sabranch@anzfss.org by Saturday 31 October 2026 (11:59 PM, South Australia time).
The judging panel will respond before the end of November to allow the successful recipient to plan for their professional development. In the event the judging panel deems no application is of sufficient merit, then no award will be awarded.
It is an expectation that the successful applicant will give a presentation on their activity to ANZFSS SA branch if requested.
The successful applicant will be unable to reapply for the award in the 4 years following the closing date of the successful application.
