ANZFSS WA Event: Humanitarian Forensics: Application Examples of an Evolving Discipline

19/07/2023 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm AWST

The field of Humanitarian Forensic Action (HFA) has seen continuing evolution since the early 1980s, and now includes a range of activities framed by International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law that aim to alleviate human suffering and protect the dignity of those affected by natural or artificial catastrophic events.

Join us on Wednesday 19th July to hear from Edda Guareschi MD, who will highlight examples of how modern humanitarian forensics is applied to build a sustainable future for humanity through the promotion of historical truth and social progress.

This event will be held face-to-face at the Exhibition Space of Curtin University Building 500. The presentation will start at 6 pm, with refreshments & mingling from 5:30 pm. Please register by Friday 15th July for catering purposes.
